Ipod not updating
Hello, My i Pod classic has been a pain ever since I hooked it to my laptop. At first I had it hooked to the i Tunes to my desktop computer and it worked PERFECT..
The sole major update to the 7th-generation is its new processor, which is an A10 Fusion chip that Apple first used in the 2016 i Phone 7 and Plus.I found an i Pod Touch that has been sitting in the closet for about a year and want to update the firmware operating system [ed note: it’s actually called “i OS” now]. I have an i Pod Touch I won at a trade show, then lost about a year ago… Seriously, though, it’s pretty easy to update the software on your i Pod Touch, i Pod Classic or any other i Pod device, regardless of how old it is: Just plug it in to a computer running i Tunes and once it sees the device, it’ll prompt you to update things. Is it black and has “You’re A Winner” etched on the back? It's faster than the 6th-generation i Pod, though, which has a single-core Geekbench score of 1330 and a multi-core score of 2250.Apple also underclocked the A8 chip in the 6th-generation , so having a chip that runs a bit slower in an isn't new.
The A10 Fusion chip is a good bit faster than the A8 chip that was in the 6th-generation , but it's worth noting that it's underclocked in this new model compared to other A10 devices.
